So I have been working hard on getting the car ready to paint by doing all the required body work. The car had some body damage and some really bad Bondo work done on it. It was also painted the wrong color when it was repainted before I got it. At least I got some more pictures for you this time. I have been sanding down the body and cleaning all the old Bondo off the car. I have been straightening out anything bent or messed up back to original lines and curves. After I get all of that done, I will be welding in new metal in any spots that have holes in them like near the rear wheel well on the driver side as well as around the front trunk lid and engine compartment cover.
I have started the work on the interior also. I removed the seats and the dash board. Next steps will include removing the carpet and fixing the floor boards up so they are correct. The driver side floor board will also need some metal welding into it.
Well that is about all for now, check out my new pictures I posted in my pictures section HERE. I found a 1978 fiat x1/9 for sale online at a dealer in Pennsylvania. So I got all the pictures for it and posted it since they were good quality pictures.
