I have been trying my best to get some body work progress done, yet to no avail. So far I have bought a bunch of sanding supplies and a power sander from harbor freight and bought more sand paper for my corner cat sander.
So far I have gotten one side of the car sanded and the rear trunk lid. I feel like there is a lot to be done to finish and finding things out about the car like it had been in a wreck once. There is Bondo from the 80’s on it. WOW is all I can say about that stuff. Well after fixing a lot of the lines of the body and removing the horrible Bondo job, it is starting to take shape though. I am still trying to find a good way to paint the car since most of the paint places around me do not want to paint it since I am doing the body work myself which I think is absurd in my opinion. They must not need the work or something, not really sure. One place quoted me about 4,000 just to put a base primer, 3 coats of paint and 3 clear coats on, and that is if I bought the paint and brought it to them. If anyone lives near the upstate of South Carolina and knows of anyone that can paint a car like this and does a good job, please let me know. Well sorry for the short post this time hopefully next time will be better and I will have more pictures and progress to report. I am going to try to get some progress and tool pictures up here for this post soon.
And once again thanks for visiting my site. Please feel free to look around or ask questions if you have any for me.
